You might not have heard of Faheem Najm but you have certainly heard of his stage name. T-Pain is one of the top hip-hop, singer-songwriters and producers in the U.S. Through his solo effort and collaborations he has been nominated and awarded for several music awards including the Grammy’s.

Like many of our hot artists T-Pain’s ascent to the top of the music food chain came quickly but not after lots of hard work. At age 10 his bedroom looked more like a studio than a place to sleep. With his keyboard, beat machine and four-track recorder he was figuring out how things worked. After high school T-Pain got busy joining the rap group Nappy Headz before going solo and joining up with Akon and Konvict Muzik.

This year T-Pain comes out with his Thr33 Ringz which is entirely produced by himself. The album is not set to release until late September but you can catch some of the single’s right here including Can’t Believe It.
