Lil Mama started out with featured parts in songs by Jay-Z, Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, Sean Kingston, Mary J. Blige and Rihanna. She got help from friends for some of her songs like “Shawty Get Loose” which features Chris Brown but also wanted to feature herself. “L.I.F.E” is an especially powerful song about her childhood and proves she is more than just bubble gum. |
